To divide up the hard task of writing the books, Victoria comes up with the actual storylines, and then Cherith and Kate take turns actually writing the books. The first arc of the series takes place at an actual forest in England. The last arc of the series, however, is at an imaginary lake. And the second arc, it's in between.
I actually got just wee bit obsessed with the Warriors series myself. I feel kind of a special connection with Warriors because I can't have a cat of my own. The Warriors series just really touched me. It was like having a cat when I was read these books. I never wanted to leave the world of the Warrior cats. It was like a second home for my heart.
When I first started the first book of the first arc, I hated it. Isn't that funny? Now I am doing a school project on it. Anyway, I completely despised it. But that was only because of the first books prologue. So, if you plan on reading the first book of the first arc, I recommend giving the book another chance when you read the prologue. Or you could just read the prologue after you've finished the rest of the book.
All in all, the Warriors series really is a great book series that many people everywhere read and enjoy. I know I sure do.
Laine,
ReplyDeleteIt put tears to my eyes reading that this series made it feel like you had your very own cat. I love how much these books touched you. You have all your own colors and cool pictures. You really put a new defintion into the word blog! Your posts are very interesting and you have all of your links and everything. I just wanted to say your slideshow has some pictures of hockey players on a team called the warriors but anyway its an awesome slideshow.
Nice blog,
Mill <3
You must have put TONS of effort into this, (or at least more than I did), and it really payed off. Your blog is a quick read, but it is filled with info.Witch is good because it keeps the reader interested.I really enjoyed the extra post, and the end of your history made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great blog,
Ethan
Laine, I thought that your blog was very infomational. Just to say that I have never read any of these books, so in your summary it was very helpful for when you said that, what you liked and what you didn't, beacuse to me its good to hear other peoples opions. Let me get this staright, Warriors is a book about these cats that save people or other animals? well this blog is great and well i bet this took you a very long time so maybe i can pick up a warriors book and take a peak at it.
